Hallmark Cards, Inc. believes that when you care enough… you can change the world. That’s why they are dedicated to creating a more emotionally connected world and making a difference in the lives of others.

Founded in 1910 by J.C. Hall, and remaining a private company with family members on the board of directors today, Hallmark’s businesses employ approximately 27,000 worldwide and generate revenues of approximately $3.5 billion.

While Hallmark may be a much more established and larger company than your business, there are interesting similarities and philosophies. Perhaps we can gain some insight and inspiration from their vision.

Hallmark is the world's leader in the personal expressions industry and produces millions of greetings cards daily, as well as other products that help people connect with each other. Hallmark publishes products in 30 languages and distributes them in more than 100 countries.

There’s so much to see at the Hallmark Visitors Center. Interactive displays and fascinating exhibits give you a glimpse into the rich history and creative spirit of Hallmark. And stop by our theatre to watch a film that showcases Hallmark’s 100+ year history. And with the push of a button, you can watch the bow machine create a star-shaped bow you can take home as a souvenir.

Headquartered in Kansas City, Mo., Hallmark has a diverse portfolio of businesses:  Hallmark (offers a wide range of greeting cards, gift wrap, and related products in more than 100 countries and 100,000 retailer rooftops worldwide, including a network of company-owned and independently-owned Hallmark Gold Crown stores in the United States, Canada, England, Ireland, and Scotland), Crayola (sells a range of art materials and toys designed to spark children’s creativity around the globe. It also operates Crayola Experience attractions), Crown Media Family Networks (operates Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, and Hallmark Drama, three 24-hour cable networks, in addition to the e-books division of the Hallmark channels, Hallmark Publishing, and Hallmark Movies Now, a subscription-based streaming service), and Crown Center (a real estate development company that manages the 85-acre hotel, office, entertainment and residential complex surrounding Hallmark’s world headquarters in Kansas City.)
