Air and Ground Transportation

Cincinnati is located within one hour's flight or a day's drive of 60% of the U.S. population. It is served by the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG), a hub for Delta Air Lines. Other airlines include American Airlines and United Airlines, as well as Air Canada, Alaska Airlines, Frontier Airlines and Southwest Airlines. That means that there are convenient flights to a wide variety of destinations. Cincinnati is also within 500 miles of 60% of the nation's population. The airport is just 15 minutes from downtown Cincinnati.

There are lots of options to get from the airport to downtown. In fact, the most economical way is the TANK (Public Transit Authority) Airporter route for just $1.50 per ticket and it's only a 20-minute ride. Buses pick up every 30 minutes. Get on at the airport and it's four stops to 5th and Vine. From there it's a 197 ft. walk, or about one minute to the hotel. For more details, routes and fares, see Ground Transportation below.

Ground Transportation:  Cincinnati offers many different ways to travel in the metro area: Cincinnati Metro (fixed route bus service), The Airporter, Airport Executive Shuttle, taxi, Uber or Lyft (rates around $26) rideshares. The Cincinnati Connector (streetcar) is completely free of charge and runs on a 3.6-mile loop through the heart of the city. See the link below for a PDF of the streetcar route.

The easiest way to explore your options for ground transportation to and from the airport and getting around town is to visit the CVG Airport Ground Transportation page. There you will find Uber, Lyft, Taxi, Private Car and Public Transit routes ($1.50 one-way cash fare) and info.
