The Fall Event 2026 | Cleveland, OH | Sep 28 - Oct 01

GET CONNECTED in Cleveland!

We invite you to experience The Fall Event 2026 in Cleveland, Ohio, where progressive garden retailers, service providers, and vendors come together to network, exchange ideas, collaborate, and create new synergies that fuel success. Plus, we’ll tour some of the area’s best garden centers, experience hidden gems throughout Cleveland, and enjoy much more along the way!

The Fall Event is all about sharing, learning, and growing. It’s a unique convergence of networking, education, collaboration, and fun that challenges you to think differently and grow professionally. No matter how long you’ve been in retail — or what role you play in your company — there is always something new to learn.

There are countless reasons why you should attend The Fall Event, but we’ve managed to narrow it down to five:

Connect with Your Peers. You’ve heard it before because it’s true — networking matters. Meeting face-to-face with fellow garden retailers gives you the opportunity to exchange ideas, collaborate, and tap into a wealth of collective experience and knowledge. You’ll build professional relationships, discover fresh perspectives, find mentors, and perhaps become one yourself. The Fall Event provides plenty of “white space” for meaningful conversations and authentic connections – and Get Connected!

Collaborate with our Service Providers. Our Service Providers are industry experts and solution partners who bring valuable insight, advice, and experience to the world of garden retailing. The Fall Event gives you the opportunity to discuss your biggest challenges, discover innovative ideas, and learn strategies that are producing real results for others in the industry.

Learn from our Speakers and Facilitators. Our speakers and facilitators are leaders, innovators, and thought leaders who embody The Group’s entrepreneurial spirit and ingenuity. Their sessions are designed to introduce new concepts, spark creativity, challenge assumptions, and inspire fresh thinking that can help grow your business and strengthen your team.

Engage with our Sponsors. Our sponsors are among the industry’s leading suppliers, offering products and services designed to help your garden center succeed. During breaks and networking opportunities, take time to engage with them personally. While you can always browse products online, The Fall Event gives you the chance to experience hands-on demonstrations, ask detailed questions, and preview new products and programs currently in development. These one-on-one interactions can lead to valuable and profitable business partnerships.

Sharpen Your Saw. The concept of “sharpening the saw,” popularized by Stephen Covey in The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, reminds us that investing in ourselves is essential for growth and effectiveness. A dull axe can’t cut nearly as efficiently as a sharp one. Don’t keep hacking away at challenges without taking time to recharge, learn, and improve. Leaving the garden center to gain new skills, perspectives, and inspiration helps you work smarter, not harder — and ultimately achieve greater success.

The Fall Event packs an incredible amount of learning, collaboration, and inspiration into just a few days, while still making time for relaxation and fun. We encourage you to arrive early or stay a little longer to explore Cleveland on your own. You’ll leave re-energized, motivated, and ready to apply fresh ideas to your business.

And bring your team! Allowing employees to step away from the daily routine, build confidence, expand their knowledge, and bring back new ideas is an investment in both your people and your company.

The Fall Event 2025 set a new attendance record and expanded sponsor participation. The four-day event buzzed with positive energy and provided garden retailers with countless opportunities to connect with sponsors, discover new products and programs, collaborate with peers, and learn from industry experts.

The event featured a dynamic lineup of educational sessions, breakouts, networking gatherings, and a full-day tour designed to foster meaningful conversations and lasting relationships. Highlights included the Sponsor Showdown before the Opening Session, the Monday Welcome Reception, the Tuesday Group Gathering, and Wednesday’s full-day tour — along with plenty of unscheduled time to reflect, recharge, and connect with others. Our traditional Group Photo (above) was captured during the Monday Welcome Reception.

We hope you and your team will join us in Cleveland, Ohio, September 28 – October 1, 2026.
